Schedule: 11 pm to 7 am, Sunday-Thursday
Pay Rate: 16/hr
Job Duties
- Perform product inspections and testing for in-progress and completed goods
- Perform material testing of aluminum billets and other products
- Ensures materials, products, and manufacturing processed meet company and customer requirements.
- Use precision measuring tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, harness, yield, tensile, tress test, etc.)
- Read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Performs Product and Process Audits
- Generate Quality inspection reports/documentation
- Generate, record, and analyze various mechanical and chemical reports
- Generate reports from audits and follow up on audit findings.
- Collaborates with the Quality manager and other personnel to create and improve inspection programs to enhance product quality and processes
- Assist with calibration of equipment and tools.
- Support production personnel for any quality matter
- Use of proper PPE (i.e.: safety glasses, steel toe shoes, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).
- Safety Rules and practices
- EPIC knowledge and understanding of the applicable functions.

- High school diploma, or equivalent
- 2 years of working experience in Quality Control and/or Manufacturing environment.
- Working experience in metal production or aluminum production, preferred.
- Ability to read and write in English fluently with proficiency
- Experience using computers and Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform various physical tasks including extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting throughout duration of shift
- Follows company Quality Management System and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, new quality control techniques and methods.
