Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items as necessary.
- Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
- Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, post weights and shipping charges, and prepare goods for final shipment.
- Examine, stock, and distribute materials to inventory and manufacturing lines.
- May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
- Work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods with a moderate degree of supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- 1 year of work experience.
- English proficiency required to maintain, ensure, and promote safety requirements and procedures for required machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal skills, proactive, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures.
