General Summary:
Responsible for assembly and painting of component parts for production of sideframes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identification of components for assembly of sideframe.
- Assemble components to make completed sideframe.
- Remove shoe from track group and be able to assemble the track group onto the sideframe.
- Torque nuts and bolts to print and torque specifications.
- Paint completed sideframes as required by the customer.
- Complete paperwork required for job to monitor warranty claims.
- Organize and clean work area.
- Inspection of components.
- Follow all written work and Q.C. instructions.
- Other duties as required by supervisor or management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Basic math skills such as simple calculations and ability to read and understand fractions and decimals.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to stand and lift parts weighing as much as 50 lbs.
- Ability to use and pull torque wrenches, hand tools, and inspection equipment.
- Must be able to work with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Ability to operate fork truck
- Ability to stretch, stand, walk, etc. for the entire shift.
