What You’ll Do
- Set Up & Run Mazak Lathes: Handle full setup, operation, and program edits
- Dial in Precision: Select tooling, speeds, and feeds to optimize performance
- Blueprint to Reality: Interpret prints and ensure parts meet exact specs
- Own Quality: Perform inspections and support SPC/quality tracking
- Maintain Equipment: Keep machines running smoothly with routine maintenance
- Stay Safe & Organized: Follow safety standards and maintain a clean workspace
- Collaborate: Work closely with supervisors, teammates, and other departments
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of CNC machining experience
- Mazak experience required (setup operation)
- Programming or Mazatrol conversational programming experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Working knowledge of basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
- CNC certification (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance)
- Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout the shift
- Exposure to typical machine shop conditions (noise, heat, dust, etc.)
- Must provide your own hand tools and toolbox
