ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Perform detailed pre-weld preparation including cleaning, surface preparation, deburring, and material staging.
- Execute precision mechanical assembly of bellows components and sub-assemblies, ensuring proper alignment, fit-up, and dimensional conformance.
- Assemble and fixture parts to support accurate and repeatable welding operations.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify tolerances before and after assembly.
- Conduct welding operations as required, including Laser, TIG, and seam welding, following established procedures and work instructions.
- Support weld quality by ensuring parts are properly prepared, positioned, and stabilized prior to welding.
- Perform basic weld inspections, including visual checks and dimensional verification, to confirm conformance to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, routing sheets, check sheets, and written instructions accurately.
- Complete required production and quality documentation, including inspection results and equipment data.
- Assist with routine tool and equipment care, including cleaning, minor maintenance, and proper storage.
- Follow all safety requirements, quality procedures, and plant rules at all times.
