Overview
Client is seeking an IMS / Manufacturing Systems Analyst to support and enhance manufacturing IT systems in a 24x7 production environment. This role focuses on Integrated Manufacturing Systems, MES-related solutions, SQL Server development, application support, security monitoring, and solution delivery for manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL Server and Microsoft development experience, works well independently, and can support both software and hardware solutions tied to production needs.
Core Responsibilities
- Support and deliver solutions for IMS and manufacturing systems environments
- Develop, test, implement, and support hardware and software solutions that meet business needs
- Build and maintain MS SQL Server solutions including complex queries, views, triggers, stored procedures, SSRS, and SSIS
- Support application development across .NET, ASP, C , and C#
- Assist with deployment, management, and support of manufacturing software and hardware solutions
- Partner with internal customers to gather, define, and document system requirements
- Review and respond to documented issues related to system changes
- Troubleshoot complex application and IT issues that may significantly impact the business
- Provide oversight of contracted or external development work
- Monitor solution quality to ensure output meets required specifications
- Help maintain physical and cyber security of internal IT systems by monitoring risks and implementing approved fixes
- Follow software development life cycle processes when needed
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Deep experience developing complex queries, views, triggers, and stored procedures
- Strong experience with SSRS and SSIS
- Hands-on development experience with .NET, ASP, C , and C#
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Ability to develop, test, troubleshoot, and document system requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear task updates to leadership and internal customers
- Ability to estimate time and effort required for assigned work
- Experience working directly with end users to gather and refine requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Experience with Mobile Device Management for Android tablet solutions, with Zebra experience preferred
- Experience with MES platforms such as Camstar or Opcenter
- Experience with SAP S/4 and related supply chain systems
- Experience with Client or similar manufacturing systems
- Manufacturing experience supporting production IT systems, including both hardware and software
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline preferred, but not required
- 3 years of practical industry experience, with manufacturing experience preferred
