Job Title: Dock Associate
Location: Rochester, NY
Job Summary: Join our warehouse operations team as a Dock Associate and play a key role in managing the flow of shipments in and out of our facility. This position involves unloading trucks, staging and labeling incoming equipment, maintaining dock organization, and optimizing warehouse space.

Shift & Pay:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
Core Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks and accurately stage and label incoming equipment.
- Maintain receiving logs and communicate incoming shipments with team members.
- Keep the dock area clean, organized, and properly staged for efficiency.
- Sort and arrange pallets and frames in designated areas.
- Separate and consolidate equipment based on keep/scrap lists to optimize warehouse space.
- Safely relocate equipment within the warehouse using forklifts or other machinery as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to streamline warehouse operations.
- Follow management directives and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience: Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse operations.
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and adapt to changing needs.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color recognition, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
