Program Coordinator / Analyst – Hunger Relief Program
[Schedule – Hybrid/Onsite if applicable]


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Program Coordinator/Analyst to support multiple coordination programs within the Hunger Relief Program. This role works closely with leadership and internal teams to ensure program compliance, improve processes, and support statewide initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Program Oversight & Coordination

  • Administer and oversee multiple coordination programs within the Hunger Relief Program
  • Collaborate with senior management and internal departments to ensure program success
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, state laws, and administrative rules

Program Development & Planning

  • Develop and author State and Project Plans, including program initiatives
  • Conduct program evaluations, project design, and data compilation
  • Review and approve budget narratives and project plans

Compliance & Monitoring

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Monitor programs to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Review and approve budgets, scopes of work, and expenditures
  • Ensure compliance with federal OMB guidelines for allowable costs

Financial Oversight

  • Review and approve invoices and expenditures for contractors and sub-recipients
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial documentation

Training & Support

  • Develop and deliver statewide trainings on program requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare data analysis and program reports
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions

Additional Duties

  • Serve as backup to the Hunger Relief Program Manager
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Social Services, or related field preferred
  • Experience with program coordination, compliance, or public sector programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with budgeting, financial review, or grant management preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations (OMB guidelines a plus)
