Warehouse Manager
Our client in Bridgeport is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations, inventory control, and logistics in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. This role plays a key part in supporting installation and service teams, ensuring all materials, equipment, and fleet resources are accurate, available, and job-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of parts, equipment, and critical materials
- Coordinate purchasing and vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective supply
- Manage inbound/outbound logistics and job staging to support field teams
- Supervise and develop warehouse staff, promoting accountability and efficiency
- Oversee fleet and equipment readiness, including maintenance tracking and organization
- Partner with Service and Sales teams to align scheduling, materials, and job needs
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of warehouse or operations management experience
- Experience in generator, electrical, or mechanical equipment environments strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory control, logistics, and warehouse systems
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a hands-on environment
- Experience with fleet, parts, and equipment coordination
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety standards and operational excellence
