Position: Label Production
Job Summary:
The Label Production & Shipping Associate is responsible for producing retail shelf and pricing labels using production equipment and preparing finished label orders for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate label printing and production machines to produce retail labels and tags.
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Read and follow work orders, job tickets, and standard operating procedures.
- Verify correct materials, label stock, and components before starting each job.
- Perform quality checks to ensure labels meet customer specifications and company standards.
- Monitor machines during operation and report any mechanical or quality issues.
- Package finished labels according to order specifications.
- Prepare completed orders for shipment, including labeling boxes and staging pallets.
- Assist with shipping tasks such as organizing orders, verifying quantities, and loading shipments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work with team members to meet daily production and shipping deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Experience in packaging or shipping is a plus.
- Ability to follow written instructions and production schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying orders.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for 8–10 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
