Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)
Location: Statesville, NC
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate with strong forklift skills to join our team. This role involves safely moving customer product, assisting with warehouse transfers, and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will also have scan gun experience and be proactive in taking on additional tasks when dock activity is slower.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Assist with transferring customer product between warehouse facilities.
- Utilize handheld scan guns for inventory tracking and verification.
- Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and take initiative when additional tasks arise.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience required.
- Experience using scan guns/RF scanners strongly preferred.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and willing to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk throughout the shift.
