Position Summary: Production assembler in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must be able to reliably follow directions producing high-quality mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
Shifts Available: 1 st Shift 6:00 am – 2:45 pm , 2nd SHIFT: 2:15pm-11pm
Salary: $18-$25 per hour depending on skillset, experience, and industry.
Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have basic English language proficiency to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies, and procedures.
- Soldering, hand crimping experience
- Able to read tape measure and operate simple power and manual hand tools.
- Ability to read detailed instructions/blueprints and understand assembly drawings and bill of materials.
- Deadline-driven and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong desire to learn on the job.
- Reliable, good work ethic, and high integrity.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Receive production orders from the Team leader and assemble based on instructions provided by the supervisor and on work orders.
- Aid in the movement of component parts to the assembly area, and of finished parts to the next operation.
- Read blueprints and bill of materials to ensure proper parts are being assembled. Scan into and out of work orders correctly and record an accurate count of welded assemblies.
- Aid in other departments as needed by the supervisor.
