Overview
Client is seeking a Full-Stack Developer with strong Azure cloud experience to help build and support scalable applications and AI-powered retrieval solutions. This role will focus on full-stack development, cloud-native architecture, document processing pipelines, API orchestration, and platform reliability within a modern Azure environment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Python, React, NodeJS, Azure AI services, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
Core Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python, React, and NodeJS
• Implement and manage cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on Azure App Services and Azure SQL Database
• Build and support data pipelines for document ingestion, chunking, enrichment, embedding, and indexing
• Configure and optimize Azure AI Search for retrieval and vector search use cases
• Develop and maintain APIs that support AI and RAG workflow orchestration
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance, availability, and responsiveness
• Strengthen platform security and scalability using Azure identity and access management services
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, production issues, and platform incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and release new features
• Participate in code reviews and support engineering best practices
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar software engineering role
• Strong Python development experience
• Strong front-end and web application development experience with React and NodeJS
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud architecture
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Services and Azure SQL Database
• Strong knowledge of Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure OpenAI
• Experience building data pipelines for document processing and enrichment
• Experience with API development and orchestration
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience, especially Terraform
• Strong problem-solving ability, communication skills, and attention to detail
• Understanding of Azure security best practices
• Experience working with Generative AI solutions
Preferred Skills or Experience
• Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
• Knowledge of vector search and embedding models
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Semantic Kernel or LangChain
• Familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or similar services
• Azure AI or related cloud certifications
