Our client, is a growing, multi-entity organization overseeing several businesses across industries including construction/logistics, healthcare (med spa), and other service lines. With operations in New York, Maryland, Chicago, and beyond, the company is focused on building a more centralized and scalable financial infrastructure.

Position Overview
We are seeking an In-House Accountant to support and streamline financial operations across multiple business units. This is a high-impact role that will work closely with ownership and play a key part in bringing structure, visibility, and efficiency to the company's accounting processes.
This individual will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, partner with an external accounting firm on tax matters, and manage a bookkeeper.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoicing processes
  • Manage and maintain QuickBooks and financial records
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking
  • Prepare and analyze P&L statements and financial reports
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments and collections
  • Provide financial visibility and reporting across multiple entities
  • Collaborate with external accountants on tax filings and compliance
  • Supervise and support bookkeeping staff
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Experience with QuickBooks (required)
  • Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of tax fundamentals and working with external accounting firms
  • Construction, logistics, or related industry experience preferred
