Legal Assistant – Hybrid | Boston, MA

A prestigious regional law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to join its collaborative Boston office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment where your organizational skills and professionalism will make a direct impact.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage and track incoming mail using ProLaw; distribute to attorneys and paralegals
  • Proofread legal documents including pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and client reports
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and internal meetings
  • Handle e-filing, service of pleadings, and preparation of standard legal correspondence
  • Monitor court dockets and calendars to ensure deadlines are met
  • Support attorneys with budgeting, case tracking, and file management
  • Assist with closing files, including settlement follow-ups and final client communications
  • Coordinate travel, conference rooms, and calls

Office & Team Support

  • Maintain office operations including supplies, shipping, and vendor coordination
  • Submit IT and equipment service requests as needed
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day workflow across the team
