Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our team. The Powder Coater is responsible for preparing, applying, and finishing powder coating on a variety of surfaces. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying treatments.

Select and mix powder coating materials according to job specifications.

Set up, operate, and monitor powder coating equipment (spray guns, booths, ovens).

Apply powder coatings evenly to ensure consistent coverage and a high-quality finish.

Inspect finished products for coating thickness, texture, and durability.

Perform touch-ups and adjustments when necessary to meet quality standards.

Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the work area; perform routine maintenance.

Follow safety guidelines and wear proper PPE at all times.

Keep accurate records of materials, production output, and any quality issues.

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in powder coating, painting, or general manufacturing preferred.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Ability to read and follow work orders and specifications.

Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of safety practices and willingness to wear protective equipment.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team setting.
