Customer Service Representative (Remote – Phoenix Area)
Must live within 1 hour of Phoenix or Tucson
Remote (Day 1 onsite for orientation)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Between 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM (schedule assigned based on business needs)
Position Overview
We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to support a high-volume call center handling tax-related inquiries for individuals and businesses. This role requires strong multitasking, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Handle high-volume inbound calls professionally and efficiently

Resolve Tier 1 customer issues

Review and update taxpayer accounts

Verify and document customer information across multiple systems

Educate customers on tax policies and available resources

Assist with payment arrangements

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation

Meet performance and productivity expectations
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum 1 year of recent call center experience (non-dispatch, non-switchboard)

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace)

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to retain and apply new information quickly

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual Spanish

Experience in banking, finance, insurance, or similar industries

Experience with process improvement initiatives
Additional Requirements

Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and AZ tax record review (last 5 years)

Must attend Day 1 onsite orientation

Must have reliable, hardwired internet connection

Must be able to transport company equipment (desktop, monitors, etc.)

Resume, Right to Represent (R2R), and Cover Letter required
Training & Assignment Details

Training: 3 weeks | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (mandatory attendance)

Schedule may vary and will be assigned based on business needs

Fully remote after onboarding

Contract role (approx. 6 months) with potential for extension or permanent hire
