Precast Structural Engineer

We are working with a well-established and highly reputable organization in the precast concrete industry that is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in Florida. This is a long-standing company with a strong track record, stable backlog of work, and a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

This role is focused on precast structural design, where you will have full ownership of projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for performing structural calculations, designing precast components and connections, and ensuring designs are practical and aligned with production.

A key aspect of this role is the opportunity to work closely with internal teams across engineering, drafting, and manufacturing—allowing you to see your designs come to life in real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations and design for precast concrete systems and connections
• Lead and manage projects independently from concept through completion
• Review drawings, RFIs, and project specifications
• Coordinate with internal teams including drafting, production, and project management
• Troubleshoot design challenges and provide technical guidance
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis preferred)
• Strong experience with precast or prestressed concrete design
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
