CNC Technical Specialist

Job Title: CNC Process Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Process Technician to support machining operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for programming, setup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across CNC and conventional machining processes. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical resource, supporting production teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency across all machining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support on the manufacturing floor across machining operations
• Create and maintain CNC programs for new and existing products
• Manage and maintain DNC systems with proven, best-practice programs
• Set up and start up jobs on a variety of CNC and conventional machines
• Troubleshoot machining processes to ensure quality and efficiency
• Train and support operators to produce high-quality parts
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical and quality support to internal teams and customers
• Identify and implement cost reduction and process optimization opportunities

Qualifications

• 6 years of machining experience required
• CNC programming experience required
• Experience with both CNC and conventional machining processes
• Proficient in setup and operation of machines producing aluminum and steel components
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience using precision measurement tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and support multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar)
• Technical or associate degree preferred

Additional Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
• Occasional travel may be required
