Responsibilities:
- Operate winding equipment to produce coils to exact dimensions and tolerances.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work orders to determine winding patterns and specifications.
- Select appropriate wire gauges and insulation materials for each project.
- Measure and cut wire to precise lengths, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Inspect completed windings for defects, correct winding tension, and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain winding machines, tools, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during the winding process.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality control standards.
- Previous experience in coil winding, electrical assembly, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating wire lengths.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
