Overview
Join our dynamic team in Huntersville, NC, as a Team Lead for the Packaging Machine Operator line. We are seeking a bilingual candidate fluent in both Spanish and English for this 1st shift position. The successful candidate will play a vital role in overseeing packaging operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining production efficiency.
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Time: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Inspect products throughout the packaging process to ensure a defect-free output.
- Maintain continuous machine operation by monitoring equipment performance and making minor adjustments.
- Complete production documentation, reports, and shift records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and oncoming shifts to ensure smooth transitions.
- Feed raw materials into packaging machines and verify correct product configurations.
- Conduct routine quality checks and make necessary equipment or process adjustments.
- Monitor and adjust machine controls related to vacuum, heat, pressure, timing, and water flow.
- Track raw material inventory levels and notify the warehouse of shortages or issues.
- Support team objectives by performing additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Ability to follow procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards consistently.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Packaging Machine Operator (PMO).
- Motivated to gain valuable experience and advance within a manufacturing career.
