Schedule:
2nd Capacitor Monday - Thursday 5:30 PM - 3:30 AM; 2nd Header Monday - Thursday 5 PM - 3 AM (First 2 weeks of assignment will be training on 1st shift 7 AM - 5 PM)
Position Summary
This non-exempt position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Under close supervision, the associate may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and testing operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies. Work is performed according to standardized procedures and is closely reviewed to ensure quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and related components in accordance with established procedures.

Perform routine manufacturing assignments under close supervision.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for manufacturing cell operations.

Ensure all parts are traceable and quality documentation is accurate.

Communicate ideas, issues, and solutions clearly in both written and verbal formats to all levels of manufacturing management.

Maintain a professional, positive attitude when interacting with internal customers and external visitors (including tours).

Follow all safety guidelines and properly utilize required safety equipment.

Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to support production, quality, and profitability goals.

Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors and Managers to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics.

Support all divisional initiatives, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.

Basic computer skills, including use of electronic data collection systems and software applications.

Ability to prioritize work based on job sequencing, timing, and importance.

Manual dexterity to handle and maneuver small components and parts.

Ability to make sound decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
