We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer (BIM) to support a large-scale Data Center project in the Birmingham, AL area. This role will support both pre-construction and construction phases, working closely with engineering and project teams to develop and execute electrical design deliverables.
This position will begin with approximately 3 months in an office environment during pre-construction, followed by 7 months onsite in the field during construction.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and support electrical designs using BIM tools for data center infrastructure

Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams during both design and execution phases

Assist with pre-construction planning, layout, and coordination

Support field execution during construction, including design adjustments and issue resolution

Interpret and apply electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements

Ensure designs align with project schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations
Qualifications:

Experience as an Electrical Designer using BIM (Revit preferred)

Prior experience supporting data center, industrial, or large-scale construction projects strongly preferred

Ability to work both in an office environment and onsite in the field

Strong understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and construction coordination

Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
