We're hiring a CNC Lathe Machinist to join a high-precision manufacturing team producing critical components where accuracy isn't optional. This role is centered around setup expertise, machining precision, and craftsmanship—not just running parts.

No advanced programming required. You'll work from proven programs, making offset adjustments and minor edits as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Set up and operate CNC lathes (horizontal and/or multi-axis)

• Machine precision parts to tight blueprint tolerances

• Perform independent setups, tool changes, and changeovers

• Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and tooling as needed

• Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections

• Use precision measuring tools to ensure part quality

• Maintain a clean, organized workstation (5S standards)

• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of hands-on CNC lathe experience

• Experience performing independent setups

• Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with multi-axis or live tooling lathes

• Familiarity with Fanuc controls

• Experience with Nakamura or similar turning centers

• Background in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing

• Exposure to ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality systems
