Maintenance Technician III

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85035
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $30–$35/hr

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician III is a senior-level, hands-on role responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems

• Maintain and repair production machinery and facility equipment

• Diagnose and resolve issues with motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, drives, and VFDs

• Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, meters, and test equipment

• Support and lead equipment installations, upgrades, and rebuilds

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability

• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions

• Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and uptime

• Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians

• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs

• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

• Experience with VFDs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems

• Ability to work independently and lead maintenance efforts

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
