Nesco Resource is looking for a Material Handler located in Danbury, CT. This is a contract position with opportunity to be converted directly.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (Available to work OT after 3:30 and every other Saturday if needed)
Pay: $23-$24/hour depending on experience
Job Summary: Seeking a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This role involves moving materials, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to support workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift and pallet jack to move materials
- Load/unload shipments and stage materials for production
- Track inventory and perform cycle counts
- Prepare and label outgoing shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- 3 years of warehouse or material handling experience
- Forklift experience required (certification a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs
- Basic computer skills; ERP system experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing setting
- Standing, walking, and lifting throughout shift
