Nesco Resource is looking for an Incoming Quality Inspector located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift: Monday-Friday 10AM-6PM
Pay: $25.50-$27.50/hour depending on experience
Summary: The Incoming Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing incoming materials to ensure they meet established quality standards and inspection requirements.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical inspection
- Strong working knowledge of inspection tools and measurement equipment
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to make sound judgments when handling and moving materials on the production floor
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Perform high-volume mechanical inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and ongoing in-process/system inspections
- Complete damage assessments, including forced-damage checks to ensure product quality and readiness
- Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) activities and support non-conformance processes
- Handle and verify materials on the production floor to ensure accuracy and quality compliance
- Follow company procedures and complete required training on internal systems and processes
