Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team in Chandler, AZ, as a dedicated Production Planner. We specialize in high-precision investment casting and machining for industries such as aerospace, power generation, and oil & gas. Our expertise includes producing advanced components like turbine blades and vanes using Directionally Solidified (DS) and Single Crystal (SC) techniques. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines.
  • Maintain and update schedules, including wax input, cast schedules, and core/alloy availability.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems (Synchro preferred) for accurate inventory management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external services to ensure timely material and component delivery.
  • Provide weekly production schedules and reports to management and production teams.
  • Lead daily planning and contract review meetings for new orders.
  • Support manufacturing operators with system corrections and process enhancements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to meet business objectives.
  • Offer backup support for purchasing and procurement activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplier commitments, and production metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in line with skills and experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; some college coursework is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production scheduling or planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP/MRP systems (Synchro preferred).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in inventory control, vendor management, and production planning.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse personalities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HazMat General Awareness & Hazard Communication training.
