Job Title: Master Data Analyst

Job Overview
This role supports the company's Master Data Management strategy by improving data standardization, quality, governance, and system reliability across key business domains. The Master Data Analyst will perform SAP master data entry and maintenance, extract and validate data, analyze data quality issues, support cleanup efforts, document business processes, and help drive consistent master data practices across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely master data entry and updates in SAP
- Extract, validate, analyze, and cleanse data from SAP and connected systems
- Support quarterly vendor master cleanup initiatives and ongoing data maintenance
- Identify data quality issues, business-process gaps, and recurring error patterns
- Create and maintain workflows, process documentation, and governance support materials
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies, business rules, and internal controls
- Partner with SMEs and data stewards to improve data standards, policies, and controls
- Translate business and technical requirements, including MDM concepts, for non-MDM stakeholders
- Resolve data issues and support revisions needed to meet internal and customer requirements
- Help maintain master data integrity across financial and operational systems
Required Experience and Skills
- Intermediate SAP Master Data experience, including Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, and related setup
- Excel skills including spreadsheet creation, editing, exports, macros, and pivot tables
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical needs
- Basic project management experience preferred
