Overview
Client is seeking an IT Solution Architect for Supply Chain and Finance to design, guide, and support enterprise technology solutions across finance and supply chain environments. This role partners with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that align with business strategy and support ongoing modernization.
Core Responsibilities

Design end-to-end solution architecture for finance and supply chain applications aligned to business goals

Assess current application landscapes and recommend modernization, integration, and improvement opportunities

Ensure solutions align with security, data governance, and enterprise architecture standards

Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions

Provide guidance on financial systems including OneStream, SAP cFIN, and related enterprise platforms

Lead technical direction for implementations, enhancements, and system integrations

Support escalated issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and long-term application stability

Contribute to architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices

Maintain architecture documentation including roadmaps, diagrams, functional specifications, and integration models

Evaluate emerging technologies and support continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5 years of experience as a Solution Architect supporting financial systems

Proven experience architecting solutions in enterprise finance and/or supply chain environments

Deep knowledge of financial platforms such as OneStream, SAP cFIN, Central Finance, or similar tools

Familiarity with SAP finance and supply chain modules

Strong understanding of systems integration, data flows, and enterprise application ecosystems

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear business terms

Strong problem-solving, stakeholder partnership, and execution skills
Preferred Skills or Experience

Experience in a global, matrixed organization

Understanding of data governance, security protocols, and architecture frameworks

Experience leading collaborative solution workshops and stakeholder discussions
Work Details

Location: Remote; candidates local to Corning, NY and Charlotte, NC are preferred, but other locations will be considered

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Flexibility: Some after-hours work may be required as needed

Contract Length: One year anticipated assignment with possible extension based on demand

Travel: Up to 25% travel to Corning, NY, estimated at one week per month based on project need
