Role Overview
As a Material Handling Technician, you will perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and distribution. You will be responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and production facilities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment: Pick items using RF or voice-picking systems. Pack and ship products with a high attention to detail regarding lot numbers, shipping temperatures, and addresses.
Inventory Management: Examine, stock, and distribute materials. Report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
Environment Adaptability: May pick and pack in various temperature-controlled environments (refrigerated, frozen, or ambient).
Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and man-up order pickers, as necessary.
Quality & Compliance: Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 13485 standards. Contribute to continuous improvement of the quality system.
Duties are generally routine but may include non-routine tasks as you develop advanced skills. You will resolve routine questions independently while referring complex issues to higher-level support.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
1 year of general work experience.
Willingness to learn.
Quality attendance.

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Communication: English proficiency required to ensure and promote safety requirements and machinery procedures.

Preferred Skills:
Technical: Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel) and the ability to perform basic math calculations.
Interpersonal: Strong teamwork skills, proactive attitude, and good verbal/written communication.
Operational: Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of safety procedures.
