Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support our sales and operations team at a growing flooring and tile company in the Meadow Woods area of Orlando. This role functions as the operational backbone of the sales process, ensuring customer orders move efficiently from quote to delivery.The ideal candidate will serve as the primary coordinator between sales representatives, customers, logistics, and vendors, managing multiple active orders that may span several months. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and enter customer orders received from sales representatives
- Create and manage order tickets and job files
- Generate purchase orders for vendors and suppliers
- Coordinate order fulfillment with the logistics and warehouse teams
- Communicate order status updates with customers and internal teams
- Track and manage job orders from initiation through completion (projects may last up to 6 months)
- Monitor timelines, inventory availability, and delivery schedules
- Resolve order discrepancies, delays, or logistics issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all customer orders
- Support the sales team by ensuring seamless order execution and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in customer service, order processing, or sales support
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple long-term projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with order entry systems, ERP software, or inventory systems is a plus
