Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for evaluating incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance with company specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards. This role supports the Quality Management System (QMS) by inspecting workmanship, documenting results, identifying defects, and assisting with root cause analysis. The Quality Inspector will work closely with production and process technicians to ensure consistent quality and adherence to ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate incoming materials to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.

Inspect and evaluate workmanship according to documented requirements, including IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

Record inspection results and prepare detailed reports on findings.

Identify, document, and analyze product defects; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Provide guidance and clarification to process technicians regarding quality standards and workmanship requirements.

Prepare and maintain documentation verifying product conformance to specifications.

Maintain accurate quality records and product history documentation.

Ensure compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and internal Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.

Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
Qualifications:

Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or electronics environment preferred.

Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Experience documenting inspections and maintaining quality records.

Good communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with production teams.

Proficiency with basic computer systems for documentation and reporting.
Physical Requirements:
