Accounts Receivable (AR) Coordinator
Location: Greenville, SC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Remote: Monday & Friday | Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Coordinator supports the Cash Application function by processing and managing cash receipt activities while ensuring accurate and timely handling of financial information for both internal and external customers. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting enterprise-wide accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities

Cash Receipt Processing

Receive and process all paper documents related to cash receipts across the enterprise

Handle checks for both Accounts Receivable and non-Accounts Receivable (General Ledger selection)

Route mail to appropriate lockbox locations

Scan documents to appropriate bank accounts

Code checks accurately (company code, profit center, cost center, G/L account)

Cash Application Support
-
Learn and support cash application processes for acquired companies within ERP systems

Assist in creating documentation and training materials for third-party providers

Communication & Coordination
-
Monitor and respond to AR verification requests and bank-related inquiries

Serve as a liaison between third-party providers and internal/external stakeholders
-
Collaborate with accounting teams across the organization to resolve issues

Tracking & Reporting

Maintain daily logs of processed checks and remittances

Additional Duties

Support special projects as assigned by management

Education Requirements
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Knowledge of cash application processes preferred
Required Skills & Systems
-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Experience with SAP required
Work Experience

Experience in cash application preferred

Familiarity with check scanning equipment required

Experience with banking lockbox systems preferred

Background in a large, multi-location corporate environment preferred
