Overview
Nesco Resource is seeking a Deepwater Production & Surveillance Engineer to support our client's offshore assets in the Gulf of Mexico. This role will focus on production monitoring, system modeling, production optimization, and forecasting for deepwater subsea developments. The engineer will work closely with operations and technical teams to improve well performance and overall field efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor well and facility performance and identify production optimization opportunities
- Develop and maintain production system models for wells and subsea systems
- Support production surveillance and field monitoring programs
- Conduct well performance reviews and recommend operational improvements
- Identify opportunities to increase production, including artificial lift solutions
- Evaluate flow assurance risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Generate production forecasts and performance reports
- Maintain production databases and operational reporting systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 7 years of oil & gas industry experience
- 5 years of production engineering experience
- 5 years supporting offshore deepwater subsea production systems
- Experience working with E&P operating companies preferred
- Strong knowledge of deepwater production operations in the Gulf of Mexico
- Experience with production surveillance, nodal analysis, artificial lift, and flow assurance
