The position will perform functional testing of completed products. The position will be responsible for verifying conformance to all specified requirements. Duties include, but are not limited to, physical inspection and functional inspection of electrical components, the operation of test bays/stations and associated equipment, and troubleshooting and/or repairing faulty components. The position must assess product evaluation against standards. Review order write-ups, operate components, ensure product quality, work with other areas to ensure product quality, and verify units to meet agency approvals. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Uses basic hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, wire strippers, torque tools,and crimping tools
- Used a hypot-tester, leak check equipment, computer, and refrigeration manifold gauge
- Able read and understand drawings
- 1-3 years of experience is preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Able to use multi-meters
- Able to work in high voltage power station area
