The Admin Assistant in the Quality Department in Solon, OH, supports document control, records management, and compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO and GMP. They manage SOPs, work instructions, and quality forms, handle change requests, and assist with training record maintenance. The role requires collaboration with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues and non-conformances. Candidates should have prior quality assurance experience, proficiency with MS Office and eQMS, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update, and manage the lifecycle of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality forms.
  • Collect, archive, and secure quality records, batch records, and, in some cases, scan paper documents for digital archiving.
  • Review records for Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO and GMP).
  • Handle Change Requests (CR) and Document Change Orders (DCOs) to update procedures.
  • Maintain training records and assist in ensuring staff are trained on current procedures.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to address quality issues and non-conformances.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in quality assurance, specifically within a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).
  • Attention to Detail
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Regulatory knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO standards
  • Education: High school diploma or higher
  • Ability to pass a preemployment screening
