Entry Level Electronic Technician
General Description: Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair new electronic product and field returns. Work with Engineering and Operations Team to help identify areas of improvement. Multi-task to effectively balance production support and product repair to maintain customer satisfaction with quality as the highest priority
Pay/Shift:
1st shift - 8am-4:30pm M-F
Starting at $17-$21/hr (depending on training/education and experience)
Responsibilities:
· Set-up, Test, troubleshoot and repair new products using power supplies, electronic meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
· Repair and refurbish field returns
· Assemble and test module level product, including wiring assemblies and mechanical assembly
· Maintain test records
· Assemble test equipment as needed
· Communicate with the Engineering Team in a professional manner
· Other responsibilities as assigned
Skills
· Associates degree or certificate in the electronics field or related experience
· Ability to interpret electronic schematics, BOMs and assembly prints
· Skilled at setting up and using electronic test equipment-power supplies, DVM's, scopes, etc.
· Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits to the component level preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills applicable to all levels in the organization
