We are seeking a Building Electrical Engineer to support electrical design and engineering activities for facility and infrastructure projects. This position will work closely with senior engineers and design teams to develop electrical system designs and technical deliverables.
Responsibilities

Perform electrical engineering calculations and design tasks for power and lighting systems.

Apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) to electrical system design and installation requirements.

Support design development for:

Lighting systems

Power distribution
-
Electrical equipment layouts
-

Perform voltage drop calculations and electrical load analysis.

Size conductors, conduits, and overcurrent protection devices.
-
Assist with design of cable tray and conduit routing systems.

Review vendor drawings and incorporate equipment requirements into project designs.

Support preparation of engineering deliverables including calculations, specifications, and construction drawings.

Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Participate in project meetings and assist with technical presentations as needed.
Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
Certifications
-
Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
-
Professional Engineer (PE) eligibility or pursuit of licensure is a plus.
Experience
-
Minimum 1 year of relevant electrical engineering experience in industrial, commercial, or facility projects.
Technical Skills
-
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.

Familiarity with electrical design standards and engineering documentation practices.

Working knowledge of CAD tools including:

AutoCAD
-
MicroStation
-
Revit for building electrical design

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
