About the Role
Our client is a leader in temporary fencing, pedestrian barriers, and event infrastructure used at major construction sites, sporting events, and large-scale projects across the country. Our Statesville location is looking for dependable Yard Associates to support daily yard operations and material preparation.
This is a hands-on role where you will work both indoors and outdoors preparing materials, coordinating truck traffic, and supporting the flow of equipment and supplies that keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Fill and prepare sandbags and other materials used for fencing and barrier systems
Direct trucks and drivers entering and exiting the yard for loading and pickup
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Assist with organizing yard inventory and staging materials for shipment
Operate propane powered forklifts to move materials when needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Work as part of a team to keep operations running efficiently throughout the day
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license (not a state ID)
Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
Forklift experience preferred, especially with propane powered forklifts
Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a physically active environment
