Eligibility Specialist – Public Assistance Programs
This position is responsible for reviewing applications for various public assistance programs and determining the eligibility of applicants and recipients. The specialist conducts interactive interviews, gathers and verifies information, and ensures all application forms are completed accurately.
The role includes reviewing documentation, confirming the accuracy of submitted information, and following up with applicants when additional details or clarification are required.
Key Responsibilities

Review and process applications for public assistance programs

Conduct interviews to gather and verify applicant information

Ensure application forms are completed correctly and accurately

Review documentation and verify information provided by applicants

Follow up with applicants as needed to obtain missing or additional information

Maintain accurate records throughout the eligibility determination process
Training

Approximately 7 weeks of in-person training

Opportunity for conversion to full-time employment after the training period
