Electrical Assembler – Industrial Equipment
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: Based on experience
4-5 month temp assignment (opportunity for direct hire after temp period)
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, wiring, and assembly of electrical panels and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to high-quality industrial machine builds in a fast-paced production environment.
About the Role:
As an Electrical Assembler, you will work under moderate supervision to assemble and wire control panels, electrical enclosures, and machine-mounted components. Your work will directly impact the safety, reliability, and performance of custom-built machinery.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and mount components onto sub-panels based on engineering drawings

Wire electrical panels and components using correct wire gauge, color, and voltage rating

Read and follow electrical schematics, symbols, and UL documentation

Work with various voltages, including single and three-phase power (24V DC to 600V AC) after initial training period

Perform machine interconnection wiring and component installation

Install wire way, conduit, and perform ground bonding of machinery

Ensure clean, cosmetic-quality electrical work

Complete tasks within established build timelines and quality standards

Maintain a clean, organized work area and arrive on time for work and meetings
Additional Responsibilities:

Collaborate professionally with other departments and team members

Support department goals and strategic planning efforts

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship or vocational training preferred

Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical panel building or machine wiring

Familiarity with PLC hardware and basic understanding of PLC systems

Must provide own hand tools

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with loud noise and moving machinery
