Nesco Data Center and Infrastructure is seeking a Systems Admin in the Greater PHX area!
Position Summary
The System Administrator is responsible for the planning, implementation, administration, and support of both client-facing and internal IT systems. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure environments while delivering exceptional technical support and customer service.
This position works closely with customers as well as internal engineering, management, and sales teams to resolve system-related issues efficiently and effectively. The System Administrator serves as a technical escalation point for the Support team and is expected to approach problem-solving in a methodical, logical, and detail-oriented manner.
The role also includes documentation of issues and solutions, participation in ongoing projects, and involvement in an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 3 / escalation support to customers and internal teams via phone and email.

Resolve escalated tickets in accordance with established performance metrics.

Serve as a technical subject matter expert for supported systems and service offerings.

Research, test, and develop solutions to recurring technical issues.

Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system-related problems.

Document all support activity in the ticketing system.

Contribute to knowledge base documentation of issues and resolutions.

Participate in system, network, and infrastructure projects as assigned.

Take part in an on-call rotation schedule.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent certifications and experience.

5 years of advanced technical experience (not an entry-level position).

IT security concepts and best practices

Must currently hold or be able to obtain within 6 months:

Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and/or

Citrix CCA-V certification
