Overview
Client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the full software engineering lifecycle under a formal Software Development Plan (SDP). You will work from requirements through design, implementation, unit testing, integration, and support to formal test and delivery in a secure environment.
Core Responsibilities

Support end-to-end software development per the program SDP (requirements through delivery)

Perform requirements analysis and develop object-oriented designs

Implement software primarily in C/C and Python

Develop and execute unit tests; support integration and formal test activities

Collaborate with multi-disciplined engineering teams

Support software integration activities, including software/hardware integration as needed

Produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

U.S. Citizen (required)
-
Active/Final Secret security clearance required prior to start (Active Secret acceptable)

11 years of hands-on software development experience
-
Strong C and/or C development experience
-
Python development experience
-
Experience across the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, unit test, integration, and formal test support

Strong collaboration skills in multi-disciplinary teams
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills or Experience

RTOS experience (Green Hills / INTEGRITY or VxWorks)

Agile software development experience

Experience writing and designing to software requirements

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge

Software/hardware integration experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Location: Onsite at a secure facility requiring special access (details provided during interview/clearance process)
