Process all materials through the Service Center standard operating procedures. Ensure all materials leaving the facility are in an acceptable condition and meet the customer specifications.
- Perform product processing per documented work instructions.
- Accurate completion of all paperwork.
- Maintain warehouse accuracy and report any issues that could affect proper inventory counts.
- Ensure all efforts meet the quality requirements of the customer, reporting any issues immediately.
- Inspect product and prep for shipment.
- Maintain safe and clean work areas throughout the warehouse; must follow all safety rules and policies.
- Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Lead, Service Center Supervisor, and/or Service Center Manager.
Performance Measures
- Must pass company training programs to perform daily tasks.
- Must pass quality audits on materials processed.
Qualifications
Required Education: High school diploma / GED.
Required Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of related working experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
Additional Skills
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business.
- Ability to work on a rotating shift.
- Ability to work rotating job stations.
- Ability to effectively work in teams.
- Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback and criticism.
- Ability to work in a warehouse-based environment with moving equipment and people.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles.
- Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and product recipes/material identifications.
- Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English one-on-one and in small group situations.
- Must have the ability to reason and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use foot/feet to operate machines.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance.
- Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools, scales, spatula, barrel cart, utility knife, and computer equipment.
- Must have the physical capabilities to do repetitious work for up to 10 hours/shift.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; any lifting requirement beyond that weight limit is to be completed with 2 people.
- Vision / Hearing requirements: Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
