CNC Mill Operator – Precision Manufacturing

Position Overview

We are seeking a mid-level CNC Milling Machinist to support precision manufacturing operations. This role requires hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC milling equipment, maintaining tight tolerances, and ensuring consistent part quality. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative production environment.

What You'll Bring

Technical Capability

• 2 years of experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment

• Experience performing machine setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments

• Ability to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements

Blueprint & Tolerance Knowledge

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Working knowledge of tolerances and basic GD&T concepts

Inspection & Quality Skills

• Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers

• Experience performing in-process and final inspections

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts

Problem Solving

• Ability to identify machining issues and make appropriate adjustments

• Mechanical aptitude with a practical, solution-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce rod-based components

• Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and efficiency

• Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance

• Document production and inspection results accurately

• Follow all safety guidelines and manufacturing procedures

• Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Work Environment & Requirements

• Manufacturing facility environment with regular standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

• Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday; overtime as required

• Occasional travel may be required
