A day in the life:
Source. Match. Advise. Deliver.

  • Source and screen candidates daily for a variety of positions
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess qualifications and fit
  • Match candidate skills and experience to current and future job opportunities
  • Submit qualified candidates to open requisitions and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Write and interpret job descriptions and post openings across job boards, social media, and career sites
  • Present top talent to clients through skill marketing and consultative communication
  • Coordinate and facilitate candidate interviews, confirm start dates, and conduct quality control follow-up calls
  • Oversee onboarding compliance, including background checks, drug screens, I-9, E-Verify, payroll documentation, and client-specific requirements
  • Review pre-employment screening results to ensure compliance with applicable hiring regulations
  • Extend and negotiate employment offers
  • Maintain thorough documentation and perform related administrative tasks
  • Support payroll, unemployment, and workers' compensation processes as needed
  • Perform HR-related functions for contract employees, including counseling and terminations
  • Build strong client relationships through consistent communication and weekly client visits
  • Travel to local universities, colleges, and job fairs to build talent pipelines
  • Assist with training and mentoring new recruiters and sourcing specialists
  • Participate in implementing new recruiting technologies and best practices
What you'll need:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recruiting or staffing experience; prior staffing agency experience strongly preferred
  • Experience recruiting for high-volume commercial, skilled trade, or professional roles preferred
  • Familiarity with Boolean search techniques and modern sourcing strategies
  • Working knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to navigate multiple systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build trust, influence decision-making, and foster long-term client relationships
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and time management skills
  • Adaptable, driven, and able to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to mentor and support others
  • Strong business ethics and commitment to exceptional customer service
