Position Summary:
The Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire molding operation during assigned shift hours, ensuring safety, quality, production efficiency, and compliance with company standards and procedures.
Work Duties
- Oversee molding operations including Safety, Quality, Environmental standards, 5S practices, production, and personnel management
- Manage plant start-up and shutdown procedures (lights, water, and air systems)
- Communicate operational issues and updates with the Molding Manager
- Ensure all required paperwork and production reports are completed accurately
- Enforce and maintain all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Conduct daily shift meetings with team members
- Ensure production priorities align with molding schedules
- Train and cross-train employees as needed and delegate responsibilities appropriately
- Monitor product quality and distinguish acceptable vs. defective parts
- Input and interpret production data within department systems
- Enforce all safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain and promote 5S standards, including training team members when needed
- Ensure containment procedures are followed for suspect or non-conforming parts
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment at the end of each shift
- Monitor employee performance and ensure assigned duties are completed
Payrate:
$25.00/hr
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday
11:30Pm – 8AM
