General Production Worker

Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Pay Rate: Starting at $15/hour or higher, based on experience
Position OverviewWe are currently hiring a General Production Worker to support daily manufacturing and packaging operations. This position involves hands-on production work, material handling, and preparing finished goods for shipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable of sustained activity, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities
-
Perform continuous production and packaging tasks throughout the shift
-
Lift and move materials weighing 50–60 pounds on a regular basis
-
Stand, bend, reach, twist, and stoop for extended periods
-
Operate production equipment including granulators, shredders, and mixers
-
Package, seal, and label finished product according to company specifications
-
Palletize completed product, verify weights, and prepare shipments
-
Complete required documentation such as:
-
Work orders
-
Weight sheets and manifests
-
Production time records
-

Use production tools and equipment including:
-
Box cutters
-
Tape dispensers
-
Banding and wrapping equipment
-
Sealing equipment and scales
-

Maintain a clean and orderly work area
-
Follow all safety procedures and immediately report hazards or equipment issues
-
Operate a forklift when needed (certification preferred but not required)
Work Environment

Non-climate-controlled facility (ambient temperatures)

Exposure to dust and industrial noise

Extended periods of standing and physical activity required

Required use of provided personal protective equipment (PPE)

Steel or composite toe footwear recommended

Daily tasks and work locations within the facility may vary
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging environments is beneficial

Forklift certification is an advantage

Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail and focus on quality

Ability to work independently and maintain productivity standards

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
