Must pass Stand Up and Sit Down Forklift test.
General Purpose:
As a Forklift Operator, you would be responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks (forklifts) to load, unload, transport, and store materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse, loading docks, and storage areas. You support distribution and production operations by ensuring materials are moved accurately according to schedule and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and related material handling equipment to load/unload trailers and move goods to/from storage locations.

Store products properly and transport them to the appropriate warehouse or distribution zones.

Sort, pack, wrap, tie, and label products in compliance with company procedures.

Weigh and record product weights and other data for inventory control and labeling.

Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy in assigned areas.

Maintain work area and equipment cleanliness (remove empty pallets and debris).

Follow safety standards and regulatory compliance to foster a safe working environment.

Perform forklift maintenance tasks, including pre- and post-operation inspections, troubleshooting minor issues, and recommending repairs.

Study production and shipping schedules to coordinate material movement.
Typical Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Certified forklift operator according to OSHA standards; valid certification may be required.

2 years experience operating powered forklifts or material handling equipment.

Strong attention to safety and detail to prevent injuries and maintain accurate records.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good physical condition and ability to follow operating instructions and safety policies.
Work Environment

Typically onsite in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

May require shift work and occasional overtime based on operational needs.
